Steel made workshop press. Available for different belt widths: from 1000mm up to 2200mm. The vulcanizer includes hydraulic pressure system, heating system and cooling system. Composed by 2 parts, top and bottom, both include the heating platens, cooling system and the temperature probes. Lengths of platen available: 500mm, 29”, 39” & 1200mm (20”, 24” y 47”). Completely automatic process programmed from the control unit (heating, dwell time and cooling).
The bottom platen is lifted up or lowered from the operator control desk. Incorporates a safety system for the blockage of the oil supply if the bolts are not properly placed.
The height of the work space may be adjustable in 3 planes (from 0 to 70mm, from 71mm to 190mm and from 191mm to 310mm), depending on the moulds to use.
Easy programming operator control desk. Automatic control of the whole splicing process once the melting temperature of both platens, the dwell time, the cooling temperature and the pressure have been set. Also includes voltmeter for input voltage reading that allows to detect any problem in the power supply, ammeters, pressure regulator and manometer. Automatic end-of-cycle buzzer.
Adjustable and applied by means of hydraulic cylinders connected in series, built in the lower section and from high quality materials. The pressure is supplied to the cylinders by means of a hydraulic kit that automatically regulates the pressure (it recovers the pressure when it lowers and the opposite. Maximum pressure is 14 Bar (200PSI)
Fast heating of the platens by means of heating elements. Each one is made with an asymmetrical winding to supply an even heat distribution all along the belt. The elements get warmer on the ends to compensate the loss of temperature and avoid heat concentration in the middle. Temperature programable up to 200º C / 392º F.
Water cooling system composed by a closed stainless steel circuit, that help circulate water all along the platens propelled by a water pump. Water favours a rapid temperature reduction of the belt and reduces waiting time for a new use of the press. Cooling and blowing systems (to remove all the water inside the platens) activates automatically after dwell time finishes.
Clamping System (option)
Fixing the belt by means of automatic clamping bars.
Easily adjustable to different belt thicknesses. Steel made with safety factor 2 (capable of withstanding twice the maximum load pressure of the press).
